Job Title: Discretionary Sales Representative – PHL
Department: Stock & Energy Sales
Reports To: Director – Stock & Energy Solutions Sales / Quick Quotes
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: Maintain and develop customer relationships with distributor and contractor accounts in the Northeast Territory (Lancaster, Harrisburg, Williamsport, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton)
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop sales opportunities for stock and discretionary business by building rapport, and providing technical information and explanations.
2. Receive and respond to calls and emails from electrical distributors and contractors
3. Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives such as counter days, promotions, and training.
4. Promote Quick Quotes at electrical distributors.
5. Promote new and existing products for all represented lines.
6. Utilize experience in commercial lighting as a resource to know whom to contact for brand information and pricing.
7. Travel to training, special events, and trade shows as requested.
8. Other tasks as needed.

- Experience in the Lighting Industry.

9. Experience in providing answers that require the ability to understand technical information and details.
10. Technical aptitude to include the ability to read blueprints, schematics and reading a lighting schedule is a major plus.
11. Ability to build rapport with clients
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Visual design software, and AGILE proprietary project management software.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
